Humble Pie: How to Survive When Things Go Bad

Date: March 09, 2017

Where: Courtside B Room

What: Due to a series of lemons (bad happenstances), club members Lynette & Laco came extremely close to aborting their  Ungava canoe expedition this year. They  adapted, made it back home, and would like to share their "Lessons Learned". They hope to have time for Q&A or similar story sharing.

Known in the canoe community as “Mr & Mrs Ungava”, L&L's Trip reports and maps are a significant resource for anyone launching a North Quebec expedition.

Lynette Chubb is a professional artist ( AcrylArt.ca ) and a certified canoe instructor in Lake, Tripping, Style, Moving Water & River Running. Her art takes huge inspiration from L&L's annual paddling adventures.

Laco Kovac is a gifted software designer, a passionate explorer, an experienced cartographer ( cartespleinair.org ) and a marathon runner. Laco (pronounced “Latzo”) is the “Let's DO it!” impetus behind the L&L team.
