2016 RACCC memberships are now being accepted.

Welcome to the RA Canoe Camping Club - a club dedicated to providing members with access to a variety of canoe related activities including training, day-trips, camping trips and social events. The club is volunteer run and we look forward to welcoming you to our family.

Members enjoy a number of benefits including discounts at retailers and outfitters, access to club trips, training and social events 12 months a year, access to the RACCC fleet of whitewater and flatwater canoes, touring kayaks and camping equipment. Members also have full access to, including a calendar of trips, training and social events, trip reports and lists of canoeing and camping locations, and volunteer opportunities.

Membership in the RACCC runs from April 1 to March 31. We offer Adult Memberships ($15) and Family Memberships ($15 for one adult or $30 for a couple which includes all children 17 years and under). However, before joining the RACCC, you must be a member of the RA. You can sign-up and pay for both your RA membership and the Canoe Camping Club membership at the same time.

Once your membership application has been processed, you will receive an email from the This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with your username and password which will allow you to access the member only parts of the club website. Once you have your username and password, you can also start to sign up for trips and confirm training.

     To join the RA Centre
All members of the Canoe Camping Club must be members of the RA Centre first. Membership can be obtained by:

  1. Visiting the East Desk of the RA at 2451 Riverside Drive (7:30 am - 10:00 pm seven days a week);
  2. Calling the Registration Line at 613-736-6224 (Monday to Friday from 11:00 am to 5:30 pm) payment by credit card only; or
  3. Attending the RACCC Open House on Friday, April 22 in Clark Hall at the RA Centre, 6:30-9:00pm.

You must complete the appropriate RACCC registration form (including a witnessed signature on the second page) and the RACCC information form. Copies of these forms can be obtained at the East Desk or by downloading them from the bottom of this article. The RACCC registration and information forms can be:

  1. Handed in at the East Desk,

     Renewing Members

2015 Members should have received a renewal letter from the RA in the mail by March 18 2016.  The required registration and information forms appear at the bottom of this article. The membership year extends from April 1st each year until March 31st of the following year. A thirty day period of grace is provided (this will be extended to May 11 this year) before an un-renewed membership is struck from the membership roll. Dues must be paid before participation in any trips or training.


The below PDF forms are fillable on your PC using Microsoft Explorer but not FireFox. And date of birth will not be captured correctly using Chrome.  Thus you should fill in the forms with Explorer or complete them using Adobe Acrobat Reader after saving them.  Or you can print the forms and complete them by hand.


When filling out the Family Registration Form, please provide different email addresses for the primary member and the spouse since our website requires that emails for members be unique.
