Joining the RA Canoe Camping Club

2024 RACCC memberships are now being accepted.

Welcome to the RA Canoe Camping Club - a club dedicated to providing members with access to a variety of canoe and kayak related activities including training, day-trips, camping trips and social events. The club is volunteer run and we look forward to welcoming you to our family.

Members enjoy a number of benefits including discounts at retailers and outfitters, access to club trips, training and social events 12 months a year plus access, while on club trips, to the RACCC fleet of whitewater and flatwater canoes, touring kayaks and camping equipment. Members also have full access to  www.raccc.ca, including a calendar of trips, training and social events, trip reports and lists of canoeing and camping locations, and volunteer opportunities.  For more information on the club, see the club handbook attached at the end of this article.

Also, the RA has a number of community partners that represent a wide range of sectors offering benefits to RA members.  Click here for more information.

Membership (for those 18 years or older) runs for twelve months from the time you join and costs $59 plus HST.  Couple discount: A couple living at the same address who register at the same time are eligible to each receive a 5% discount on their Canoe Club membership.

Typically existing members will have received an email reminding them to renew their membership approximately one month before it expires.  But you can renew your membership at any time. To determine when your membership expired, login to the club website. Scroll to bottom of Home Page to Online Members. Click on your user ID. Click on the About tab in your profile. Scroll to bottom of your profile to see your Membership Expiry Date.

To join or rejoin the canoe club, call the RA membership desk at 613-733-5100. The desk is staffed:

Monday to Friday 8:00am to 10:00pm
Saturday & Sunday 8:00am to 8:00pm

Also, you can come in and do business with our membership staff at the RA East Desk.  The East Desk hours are:
Monday to Friday 8:00am to 10:00pm
Saturday & Sunday 8:00am to 9:00pm

New members must also complete the RACCC Adult Registration Form (including a witnessed signature on the second page). An Adult with children (those 17 years or younger) should complete the RACCC Adult with Children Registration Form while their spouse should complete the RACCC Adult Registration Form. Copies of these forms can be obtained by downloading them from the bottom of this article or  you can get them from the RA East Desk.  Please provide a different email address for each member of a couple since our website requires that emails for members be unique.

There is no longer a requirement for renewing members to fill out a canoe club registration form if a previous year's one is already on file with the RA.
