Gatineau man drowned canoeing - not wearing PFD

Quebec provincial police have recovered the body of a Gatineau man missing since Saturday after he fell out of a canoe on a lake near Val-des Bois.

The 26-year-old man was one of four people in a canoe that capsized on Lac de l'Argile. None of the canoeists were wearing life jackets, according to the Surete du Quebec.

Divers found the man's body at about 8 p.m. Sunday night.
